ENERCON continuously strengthen solid partnerships in APAC in particular in South Korea
to accelerate its market shares. Last year, ENERCON signed a deal with BS Energy
for 9 x E160 EP5 E3, which planned to be installed in 2025 and operated in 2026.

ENERCON joins South Korea only a few years and still strives for bigger market share.
However, ENERCON gain the reputation in the market rapidly since the launch of the EP3
and EP5 platform domestically, which are very competitive among other competitors.
The Asian market is booming and offers strong growth prospects for quality turbines

that ENERCON is here to support their projects and willing to make a major contribution
to the Korean energy transition, as well as show the support to the local team.

South Korea has set a goal of reducing carbon emissions by 40% by 2030 and reaching
carbon neutrality by 2050. The South Korean government has actively supported the
growth of the wind energy sector through various policies, incentives, and regulatory
frameworks, providing financial incentives and market mechanisms to promote renewable
energy deployment locally.
